Lenovo launches P2 and A Plus smartphones at IFA 2016

Chinese smartphone maker Lenovo showcased its P2 and A Plus smartphones at IFA 2016 . The company has priced the Lenovo P2 at 248 euros and the Lenovo A Plus at 69 euros.

Lenovo P2 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution. Powering the device is a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM. It offers 32GBG/64GB of internal storage expandable through a microSD card. The handset runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow platform, sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, and a 5MP front camera.

The connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and is backed by a mammoth 5,110 mAh battery with fast charging support.

Lenovo A Plus features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display and is powered by a MediaTek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The handset comes with 1GB of RAM and packs 8GB of on-board storage which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and also houses a 2-megapixel front camera. There is 2000mAh battery and the handset comes with dual-SIM support. Much like other A-series handsets, the biggest highlight of the Lenovo A Plus will be 4G with VoLTE support.
