Micromax launches two low budget smartphones Bolt Supreme and Bolt Supreme 2 for under Rs 3,000

Micromax has expanded its entry level smartphone line-up with the launch of Bolt Supreme and Bolt Supreme 2, priced at Rs 2,749 and Rs 2,999 respectively.

Both the smartphones come equipped with quad-core chipsets, Android L operating system, and 3G connectivity.

The company said that it is mainly targeting first time smartphone users with these new handsets.

Micromax Bolt Supreme 2 is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core and it comes with 512MB of RAM. The phone packs 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Micromax Bolt Supreme 2 packs a 2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 0.3-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Micromax Bolt Supreme 2 runs Android 5.0 and is powered by a 1400mAh non removable battery.

The Bolt Supreme is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad Core Processor, and 512 MB RAM, coupled with 4GB storage (expandable up to 32 GB). It features a 3.5-inch display with a 2MP rear camera and VGA front cam. It runs on Android 5.1 and is powered by a 1200mAh battery. The Bolt Supreme is available in two colours Champagne & White, or Grey & Black, and is priced at Rs 2,749.
