CBSE class 10 result 2016 to be declared on 27th or 28th May; check details at cbseresults.nic.in, results.nic.in


CBSE class 10 result 2016: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare CBSE 10th result 2016 on 27th or 28th May on its official websites cbseresults.nic.in and results.nic.in (or results.gov.in). Earlier it was reported that the CBSE class 10 results 2016 will be declared on May 30, 2016, but now the results will be available online two-three days in advance to the earlier announced date - CBSE class 12 results 2016 were declared on 21st May. HRD Minister Smriti Irani has said all results will be declared before the end of the month.
14,99,122 candidates registered for the examination and are now anxiously waiting for CBSE class 10 results 2016 (both board-based and school-based) so that they can plan their future academic progress based on how well they scored here. CBSE class 10 results 2016 marks will determine the stream students will be taking - Science, Arts or Commerce.
CBSE 10th result 2016 will be for the exams that were undertaken by the students in the month of March.
Here are the steps to check CBSE 10th result 2016:
STEP 1. Visit the official website cbseresults.nic.in, or results.nic.in (results.gov.in)
STEP 2. Click on CBSE class 10 results 2016
STEP 3. Enter your registration number, name and date of birth
STEP 4. Check your result and then download the PDF copy of the scorecard
STEP 5. Take a print out of the PDF copy of your result. But don’t forget to collect the official hard copy of the result from your respective institute.
CBSE has a good previous record in terms of stats about passing and failing percentage. In the year 2012, CBSE had a passing percentage of more than 97.86. In 2013, the pass percentage increased to 98.19 and in that year, there were more than 700,000 students who participated in the exams. 2014 saw another improvement in the passing percentage as it improved to 98.76. The pass percentage in 2015 jumped again with to 98.87.
