Xiaomi launches Mi TV 3S in 65-inch curved 4K, 43-inch flat FHD TV

At a media conference in Beijing, China on Wednesday, Xiaomi announced the Mi TV 3S, the latest addition to its growing TV lineup. The Mi TV 3S comes in two variants: a 65-inch 'Curved' 4K panel offering, and 43-inch flat FHD panel offering. The Mi TV 3S Curve, as the name suggests, offers a 4K curved display. It is priced at CNY 8,999 (roughly Rs. 82,500, or $1,390), and is currently only available for purchase in China. The 43-inch FHD variant, on the other hand, costs CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 18,500 or $278).

Xiaomi Mi TV 3S Curve packs in a 4K 65-inch display that comes from Samsung. Also thrown in is a Mstar 6A928 TV processor, 2GB of RAM along with 8GB of internal storage. The TV is barely 5.9mm thin which also means that the speaker set up comes from an external source. In this case, we have the Mi TV bar which houses independent 6-piece sound system and Xiaomi has included the same in the package as well.

Coming to the smaller and flatter 43-inch variant, the Mi TV 3S features a slightly thicker waistline at 10.9mm. The display is a Full HD one and is powered by an Mstar 6A908 processor. Both Mi TV 3S models are powered by Xiaomi’s MIUI with Android as the base and will only be available in China.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 3S Flat on the other hand comes with a 43-inch FullHD display and is powered by an Mstar 6A908 processor. The Mi TV 3S Flat measures 10.9mm in thickness and supports Dolby DTS audio dual decoding.
Both the Mi TV 3S variants run Android-based MIUI which is the company's custom skin.
To recall, Xiaomi had launched the Mi TV 3 70-inch 4K television in December last year. The Mi TV 3 comes with a 70-inch 4K screen and a 178-degree viewing angle. It is powered by an MStar 6A928 processor with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.
